4.9. Le général Francis Marion, dit "The Swamp Fox"

(v. 1732-1795) - surnommé « le Renard des marais » (« the Swamp Fox ») pour avoir combattu l’Anglais dans les Everglades de Floride et en Caroline du Sud en 1780/81 en développant une redoutable tactique de guerilla.
