le 8 avril, pour avertir Washington de l’avance des Anglais vers Lexington. Revere (1734-1818) était un orfèvre, officier et industriel de Boston. Sa cavalcade nocturne inspira un poème dramatique à Henry Wadsworth Longfellow en 1861.
